First edition of issue three of this influential Punk magazine. Quarto. 10 Mimeograph stapled pages, as issued. Illustrated throughout. A better than very good copy, with light toning to the extremities and a little oxidisation to the corner staple otherwise clean throughout. Issue three, on page 10 featured the first S.G. Pin-up page, in this case "Iggy Pop and friend".
NME acclaimed "Sniffin' Glue" as "the nastiest, healthiest and funniest piece of press in the history of rock'n'roll habits" and it became the true chronicle of the early days of British punk rock as well as pioneering the DIY punk ethic. Fearing absorption into the mainstream music press, Perry ceased publication in 1977 with issue 12. The early and half issues had a small print run and are now scarce.
